Vintage 1950s Northwest DC4 Vickers Viscount Walkers Westway Metal Model

This beautiful heavy metal model was originally owned by a vice president of Northwest Airlines in Minnesota, and given to the previous owner in the late 1960s. It was manufactured during the 1950s by the well known quality factory of Walkers Westway Models in the UK. Condition is just about perfect as you can see, including the manufactured decal on the bottom of fuselage. Just some very small paint chips at the tips of the wings and one on the tail. This is all original 1950s paint and decals - nothing restored. The model measures overall about 14 inches with a 15 inch wingspan. There is a little looseness where the stand is screwed to the fuselage. Either the screw needs tightening, or a small shim needs to be inserted (concealed) to tighten the joint. Simple fix that we will leave to the new owner. Shipping weight 10 pounds. (Condition: Pre-Owned)
