60s AIR FRANCE Model Airplane-BOEING 707-Travel Agency/Manufacturer/Airline-28"DIMENSIONS:Overall: 28" long x 26 1/2" wide x 6" tall.Total weight: 8 lbs.DESCRIPTION:Large vintage manufacturer's / travel agency / airline model airplane. AIR FRANCE BOEING 707 Jetliner. Cast metal (aluminum I believe). Painted finish with decals. Heavy. High quality. All original. This would have originally had a cast aluminum base for table display. The base is not present. Late 1950s / early 1960s I believe. More photos available on request.CONDITION:There is a significant / conspicuous stress crack around one of the engine mounts. (The engines appear to have been cast separately and attached.) I am able to widen this crack just by pushing on the engine a bit. This area will require some sort of restoration or stabilization. Other typical handling wear including: scattered rubs, scratches and tiny dings; minor stress lines / paint cracking around the other engine mounts. See photos for all of this. More photos available on request. Otherwise this model is in good original condition with no other damage or significant wear. No restorations / repairs / touch ups. No other cracks or stress lines. No dents, bends. Generally clean as found. No grime. No stains or discolorations. No corrosion. (Condition: Pre-Owned)
